As dumb as I must have admit to myself, I didn't know that the celebration of Chinese New Year would go on as far as 2 weeks! I just found out last weekend when I went to meet my mom's friend to collect my stuffs. I over-heard there was a "Chingy Festival" that day. I was quite surprised as I thought the festival had long been over (approximately the week before). And here, in the townhouse I am staying..there they held a Chinese New Year BBQ Party by the pool plus the lucky draw that came with it (my brother actually won a hand-mixer but he was impatient to wait and he left without knowing it..what a shame) on the very same day as the Chingy Festival.
I went to the city by train. I took my nanny along. Soon, I was greeted with a very heavy and packed crowds! We couldn't barely even move. When we got there, the festival had already started. My nanny was eager to see but I wasn't..whilst I left her to watch the festival, I went down to my business..that was shopping ;)...
Finally, I found out where "Paul & Joe" outlet was! I was over the moon when I saw that they were selling more than just cosmetic brands...they offer clothing items that are so nice and feminime...lost of laces dominated them ;) The prices are way way so expensiveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! In the end, I bought a facepowder 35 which the sales said it was very popular (I wanted to get the peach actually but I just listened to her!).
Then I called up my mom's friend, asking if it's alright to meet her a bit later 'cos my nanny was catching up with the festival...she invited me and my nanny to her hotel whereas the view was better from up there plus the air-con (the weather has not been co-orperated lately!). So I took my nanny there and met my mom's friend and her daughter. I had had a glass of orange juice and there I was...sitting and watching the festival unfolded before me and doing a bit of chatting as well. We spoke about their up-coming trips plus mine plus about me worrying a lot of my visa (This fear me the most lately..I hate this..waiting without knowing what will happen and the drama still a week away..I already missed a lot of my sleeping time..so bad! I do hope that I will not have any trouble with my visa later on..oh guys please keep your fingers cross for me and pray that everything will work out! I really need all the lucks!). I stayed until around 11pm and I got home around 12.30am...and we took Spanky for a little walk after.
