I was asked by my cousin to donate some of my money by supporting a charity held by Mission Care. I was reluctant to go in the beginning, but I was trying to support my uncle and aunt who were involved in the charity itself. So me and other cousins plus some friends went there last night. The event took place in a convention hall located @ Supermall.
I was late, as usual, pardon my working hours. I was in rush as I finished up my work around 6.20pm whilst the event started @ 5.30pm. I took shower as fast as I could and I had not decided yet what I would wear for the night. I just took my very formal shirt in white with two green ribbons decorating on it. I didn't feel comfy wearing what I wore last night since my pants were way so hipster and my shirt wasn't exactly the shirt you would wear with hipster jeans. So many times I fixed my attire :(
I arrived there around 7pm. I must say arriving there on time to see Mike from Indonesian Idol to perform. He truly has a magnificient voice! He sang two songs, and one of it happened to be "I believe I can fly" OST Space Jam. I was hypnotized by his voice!It was truly amazing. No wonder he won Indonesian Idol II. Unfortunately, he only managed to sing 2 songs. All of us wanted to take picture with him but he had already left by the end of the show :(
In between the event, Ref. Peter (hopefully I got the name right) made some appealing speech. I was very touched by it. He was sharing us with stories about Aceh and this village in Borneo. His speech was very moving and motivating.
The last part was "True Worshippers". Songs were fun and full of joy. I didn't recognise any of the songs though. Ya know, I have never been that religious myself heheheehe. We managed to take pictures with Sidney Mohede.
Closed the night by having our late supper @ Panda Kitchen. I must say I have to watch what I eat or else I will be in no shape in no time! :P
